The Oklahoma City Blazers have announced the signing of Gavin Spears for the 2020-21 NA3HL season. A 2003-born forward, Spears has played the previous two seasons with the Mansfield Hockey Association’s Varsity team, playing in the Dallas Metroplex High School Hockey league.
Last season, Spears finished second in points on the Mansfield team, scoring 12 goals and five assists in 16 games played during the regular season. Spears added another four points in three games during the 2019 Leveling league leveling session.
During the 2018-19 season, Spears again played at a near point-per-game pace, picking up 13 points in 14 games played.
