The Oklahoma City Blazers have announced that defenseman Samuel Miller and goaltender Jacob Ahl have been called up to the North American Hockey League’s Lone Star Brahmas. The two call-ups mark the first promotions to the NAHL for the Blazers, after joining the NA3HL this season.
Miller joined the Blazers via trade from the Bay State Bobcats this season, skating in all ten games for the Blazers so far this season. Miller currently leads Blazers defensemen with ten points on the season, with one goal and nine assists.
Ahl made his goaltending debut for OKC on October 16th against the Texas RoadRunners, and started his NA3HL career with two straight shutouts. Currently sitting with a 5-0-1 record on the season, Ahl is the reigning NA3HL/Vaughn Hockey Goaltender of the Month for the month of October.
