The Oklahoma City Blazers and owner Jake Runey are thrilled to unveil the Blazers new logo set for the 2020-21 season, as the team enters the start of the new decade.
Returning to the previous red, yellow, and white color scheme, the new primary logo features a throwback nod to the Central Hockey League Blazers from the 90s-2000s. Featuring dual feathers attached to the “O” of OKC to show homage to the Native American history of the state of Oklahoma and the city of Oklahoma City, while incorporating a modern typeset and font to the logo.
The Blazers wordmark further accentuates the return to the red, yellow, and white colors, while also utilizing the modern typeset for the new decade.
Jerseys and merchandise featuring the new logos will be released in the coming weeks. Stay tuned this offseason, as the Blazers continue to prepare for the 2020-21 season.
