Blazers Sign Landan Wagner, Jacob Ahl for 2020-21

The Oklahoma City Blazers have announced the signings of forward Landan Wagner and goaltender Jacob Ahl for the 2020-21 NA3HL season.

Landan Wagner, a 2002-born forward from Kearney, Nebraska, joins the Blazers after playing last season with the Lincoln Jr. Stars in the Midwest High School Hockey League.  In 30 games with the varsity Jr. Stars, the 6-foot, 180-pound Wagner picked up two goals and three assists during the 2019-20 campaign.

“I’m very excited to announce my signing with the Oklahoma City Blazers in the NA3HL for the 2020-2021 hockey season,” said Wagner. “I want to thank my teammates, coaches, friends, and family for their support. I’m looking forward to playing for this great team and can’t wait to get started!”

Jacob Ahl joins the Blazers after spending the previous three seasons in the Swedish J20 Division 1 league with Malungs IF, making his North American debut this season. The 2001-born goaltender posted a .940 Saves Percentage last season, and has posted a .900 or better number in all three seasons with Malungs IF.

Clocking in at 6-foot-3, 181-pounds, Ahl skated with the Frölunda HC academy prior to joining Malungs IF.
