Vaughn NA3HL Goaltender of the Month: Jacob Ahl, Oklahoma City Blazers
Amidst multiple standout performances by South goalies in October, Ahl’s efforts in the Blazers’ cage were second to none. En route to a perfect 4-0-0 record, Ahl opened the month with consecutive shutouts against the RoadRunners, stopping 19 and 20 shots on the 16th and 17th. One week later, Ahl and the Blazers visited the defending champion Brahmas and returned home with two wins, thanks to Ahl’s back-to-back 34-save performances to seal the win. Among NA3HL goalies with at least four starts, Ahl boasts league-best marks in GAA (1.00) and save percentage (.964%), and ranks second with two shutouts.
